We LOVE our Spankster! Spanky is a third generation Hellfire youngster out of Cheetah and an all English bred trial dog named Diamond. It is noteworthy that Diamond is from a litter of 10 puppies of which 7 are field trial winners and fourof his littermates are champions: FC Jigsaw, FC Abbey-received a 2006 NOC CM, FC Torri and AFC Rupert MH. Likewise, Cheetah's sire Cougar is also from a litter of multiple AFC, FC, CFC champions and Master Hunters, including our dog FC AFC CFC MH Toby. She is from a very strong family of dogs with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces also champions and trial winners. There are nine unique national champions in Spanky's 5-gen pedigree, including ENFC Cortman Lane and ENFC Cortman Garry.

Spanky inherited the British animated hunting style and is a lot of fun to watch work birds. I'd classify her as a true "gentleman's wingshooting companion" and is the preferred dog my dad enjoys shooting over. Spankster is very smart, methodical, was blessed with an extremely good nose and is an excellent bird finder. You'd have to be as blind as a bat not to read this dog as she heads into game! She also has superior marking, and a quick bird pick-up. She is a very QUICK and stylish dog, turns on a dime, is highly biddable and most of the time there is really no need for a whistle with this kid. Spanky is also the ultimate water dog and I often call her "Swamp Thing" because her preferred state of being is soggy, muddy, dirty, soggy, wet, dirty, soggy, dirty, muddy and wet. She LOVES the water!

Spanky is both a joy to shoot over and live with, plus she's just darn CUTE!
